| Whip N Dip opened its doors on July 4th, 1985. We began as a family run store and continue to operate that way. George Giampetro and his wife Nancy, daughter Kathy and son George worked the store from day one. Kathy developed recipes for our homemade ice cream as well as developing our "signature" cake decorating style. She would make ice cream almost daily, as we still do today. Whip N Dip is still owned by George and managed by his son George, Jr and his wife Anne Marie. We consider our employees family as well and many of them are still in contact with us today, despite having graduated high school and college and "grown up"! We are proud to say that we have 3 marriages under our belt from past employees finding the "love bug" at work! In the early days everything was part of the learning process. Long hours were put in by the Giampetro family in experimenting with ice cream flavors, techniques and products. Some things took and some didn't. Today we still work hard on developing new flavors and items with the help of customer suggestions and current trends. We believe in customer service and serving quality, homemade and handmade products. We customize to meet customer demand as much as we can.
